Meet the Team

Alex Casimir
Writer / director / Producer

Aodhan Ozawa Burns
Writer / Producer / Editor

Alex Casimir is a Brooklyn based filmmaker who hates talking about himself but will give it a go anyway.

He graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.F.A in Film and Television Production. As a half Black/half Chinese filmmaker, his work looks to explore the intersectionality of history, race, and masculinity with a touch of magical realism. Which is a more pretentious way of saying he enjoys identity pieces that not only examine the individual but the time in which they operate.

His shorts have screened at international festivals such as Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Palm Springs Shortsfest, Austin Film Festival, and NFFTY.  In 2025, he was selected as a PBS Ignite Filmmaking Fellow and the previous year, he was a finalist for the 2024 Sundance Ignite x Adobe Fellowship.

He currently works as a Creative Specialist at NBCUniversal, a part of the Marketing and Brand Partnerships team. He’s worked on numerous ad innovations with clients such as Bravo, Maybelline, Make-a-Wish, Nissan, and The National Constitution Center.

Aodhan Ozawa Burns is a Japanese-American filmmaker hailing from San Francisco, CA. He is currently based in Los Angeles and is a graduate of USC School of Cinematic Arts with a major in Film and Television Production.

He enjoys working on just about everything in just about any capacity. Writing, Producing, Editing, VFX-ing, Motion Graphics-ing – you name it, he'll do it.

Recently, Aodhan played an instrumental post-production role in Sony's blockbuster hit, MISSING (2023), which captivated audiences and dominated the box office. He later went on to design the motion graphic sequences of Sean Wang's DIDI (2024) which premiered at Sundance Film Festival.
